The new three-story 61,095 SF facility features a brick, stone and metal panel façade designed to complement the surrounding area’s architectural style. The MEP/FP equipment yard and screening area were also expanded. The existing office received a partial renovation of the first floor including ADA upgrades, a lobby expansion and the expansion of body coolers. The new space will include all medical examiner forensic functions including a morgue/autopsy area, drug chemistry, toxicology and chemistry laboratory administration, odontology, training areas and more. The second of these projects is the new, state-of-the-art forensic laboratory and a partial renovation to the existing Medical Examiner’s Office.
